The Most Practical Way to Change: Change What We Do & How We View Our Days

Change begins with what we do and how we view our daily lives. A practical way to start is by reframing our thoughts—shifting the wording of what we think and believe. This shift not only transforms our mindset but also changes how we verbalize our experiences, fostering positivity and resilience.

We all carry negative beliefs and biases that hold us back, often appearing as negative self-talk. For example, thoughts like “I’m not good enough,” “I can’t do this,” or “Why is success taking so long?” can feel paralyzing.

But reframing these beliefs can make a world of difference:

🙃 “I’m not good enough”“I’m getting better every day.” 🙂

🙃 “I can’t do this”“I’m learning how to do this.” 🙂

🙃 “Why is success taking so long?”“All of my experiences are part of my growth.” 🙂

Even something as daunting as “I hate my job” can shift to: “I’m doing what I need to now while transitioning to something better.”

The first step is awareness. Tune into your inner voice and recognize your negative thought patterns. Then, start feeding your mind with positive, empowering thoughts. Over time, these reframes build a habit of resilience and optimism.

This morning, as I walked to work, I felt immense gratitude watching Melbourne’s hot air balloons rise into the sky. Sure, life will throw its curveballs—colleagues might frustrate us, plans will fall apart—but our power lies in our response.

By reorganising how we view challenges and embracing them as opportunities for growth, we can create positive success habits. Change starts with small, intentional shifts in perspective.

It’s not easy, but it’s always within reach. 🌟
